Here we bring you another interesting foray into the world of those who have never watched The Vampire Diaries, because, even if you don’t ship Klaroline, you still ship Klaroline.
KM: Hello. So, for those who don’t know you, could you please introduce yourself and list a few of your favorite ships?
Giorgia: Hi! I’m Giorgia, I’m 18 years old and I’m Italian. I usually ship heterosexual mature/middle-aged couples, like Carson and Mrs. Hughes from Downton Abbey and Dumbledore and McGonagall from Harry Potter, or couples in their 30s like Outlaw Queen from Once Upon A Time, which is currently my favourite ship.
KM: Have you ever watched The Vampire Diaries before? If yes, have you watched many episodes/seasons?
Giorgia: No, I’ve never watched it, but I have heard about it from some friends.
KM: Do you already know anything about the characters of Klaus and Caroline?
Giorgia: I have heard about them on Tumblr but I don’t actually know them. She’s the pretty blonde-haired girl, right? I’m so ignorant about this show, ahah.

KM: What kind of feelings did you get from it?
Giorgia: Well, it’s really well made, but, since I don’t know anything about the couple at all, it’s hard to have a real emotional involvement to be honest. It kind of seems like a tragic ship, though.
KM: Do you think that, as far as you know and feel because of that video, Klaus and Caroline should be together?
Giorgia: Their relationship is a bit like Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, isn’t it? That’s what it feels like… So yeah, I think, in a way, that she is the only possible girl for him as he is the only possible guy for her. They are two sides of the same coin.

KM: That’s what happened during a crossover episode (because, yes, Klaus and Caroline are currently on two different shows) between The Vampire Diaries and its spin-off. Right after it, the writers of the show started saying that those scenes were supposed to be closure for Klaus and Caroline and their fans. What do you think about that?
Giorgia: Well, that’s a horrible way to throw a stone and then hide your hand, as they say in Italian. From what I have gathered, the writers built up quite a lot of tension between these two characters, and then what? They just decided to leave it be and tried to solve it with a quickie? Did he really leave for good after this? Noooo, man. I’m really sorry, because that’s a shitty thing to do. I think they would have been so good for each other, and maybe they will meet again after she has reached all of her life goals and, well, he’s a vampire so he is used to waiting.

KM: What does that make you think about the Klaroline Fandom? Are they cute or cute?
Giorgia: They seem very dedicated and hella organized, so compliments to you all! Every fandom that has love and mutual support among its fans is lovely and deserves the best.
