Another week has gone by and now we are bringing you another lovely Klaroline blog. We’ve chatted with the lovely Kate. Read what she had to say and then check out her amazing blog.
Why don’t you tell us a bit about yourself?
I’m Kate, 24, from Poland, a law school graduate who’s still figuring out what she wants to do in life. I work at a bank and I’ve just started learning Norwegian. Though for now I’m more qualified to tell you how to say “delete the customer account” in this language than “hello”. Gotta rectify it soon. I like reading, Formula 1, going out to lunch with my girlfriends, and dimples. I am a really big fan of dimples (that mention is purely coincidental).
I’m neither girly-girl nor a tomboy. Or I am both. What I mean is, I’ll go on a shopping spree with you and fangirl over all kinds of things (and when these things involve Klaroline, fangirling reaches extremely high levels). But I also watch football (soccer for all you lovely Americans) and swear like a sailor drinking beer while I do it. Generalization is one of those things I don’t like – I believe each of us falls into more than one category of things.
Explain your URL and why you picked it.
As the name itself states, the choice of this URL was pretty…accidental. There is no special story behind it, besides the story that I think is familiar to most of us. Have you ever wanted to give your opinion on a subject but got so excited over it, you started rambling instead? Because that’s what happens to me. A lot!
What made you start to ship Klaroline?
I’m one of those people who have started watching The Vampire Diaries because of Klaroline. It’s not a show that’s very popular in Poland but when TVD was on their 4th season, I’ve decided to check it out, upon my friend’s advice. One of the scenes I’ve come across on YT was 3×11 Klaroline scene. I fell in love INSTANTLY, with their connection, chemistry, dynamics. I’ve come back to watch earlier seasons and then, knowing the characters more, I had a deeper understanding of just how unique this pair was. It was a ship at first sight, you could say!
Why do you ship Klaroline?
I’ve never been a fan of nice and easy, for starters. That’s actually a common ground with all my OTPs. “No one writes songs about the ones that come easy”, Logan Echolls said in Veronica Mars and he couldn’t have been more right.
With Caroline and Klaus, the first thing you see, is how different they are. But what I love about them is, when you take a closer look, you see that’s not true at all. However, because of differences they do have, they constantly challenge one another and make each face hard truths about themselves. They evolve. In relationship with Klaus, I think Caroline would find (and WILL find) everything she wants and needs, plus, what she doesn’t even know she needs. The same can be said about Klaus. Add sexual tension so thick, you can cut it with knife, lively banter, longing meaningful stares, trust and respect – that’s enough to knock any fangirl off her feet.
How do you participate in the Klaroline fandom?
I do try! So far, I have two ongoing stories (all human) and also written a bunch of drabbles, you can check them out on ff.net, my pen name is MrsAgentCooper. I also had a privilege of writing some drabbles as a Guest Writer for this amazing blog, klarodrabblequest, I’m sure you’ve all heard of it <3 (and if not, go check it out immediately)! Other than that, I dabble a little in Photoshop and manage to do some manips, gifs or photosets whenever I feel inspired or for some particular occasion, like Klaroween or now, 25 days of Klaroline. What is so great about people here – I am pretty much new in this fandom (at least tumblr-wise) but you all make me feel so welcome and appreciated that I just want to give you all a big hug! You are all wonderful<3
Tell us a bit about your blog and why a klaroline fan would like it?
I’d say my blog is basically a Klaroline madness combined with a bunch of other stuff I like, including The Man from U.N.C.L.E. and Gallya, Marvel, Grey’s Anatomy, HTGAWM, Castle, Pride and Prejudice…and some other accidental ramblings! But what my blog mostly consists of is my writing and my edits, plus reblogging drabbles, gifs, graphics and everything else related to Klaroline. Hope you enjoy!
