Blog of the Week: klarosexting

Time for a new blog of the week. This time we are bringing you the lovely Norma and her blog klarosexting. Great url, right? Don’t forget to check out her blog after you read what we chatted about.

Why don’t you tell us a bit about yourself?

Hello everyone from the Klaroline magazine and also fellow Klaroliners. My name is Norma and I’m eighteen years old. I’m from New York City and I’m so grateful to be doing this interview and sharing my love for Klaroline with everyone.

Explain your URL and why you picked it.

My URL happened after the episode of 5×11. I was thinking that after running this blog for nearly 2 years that I wanted a change just like how Klaus and Caroline made a huge change for finally kissing and being together. So it got me thinking about how when Klaus went back to New Orleans that Caroline would text and keep in touch with him secretly. Which is how I got the URL name klarosexting.

What made you start to ship Klaroline?

I made one of the best decisions in my life when I started to ship Klaroline. It all happened in 3×11 when Klaus showed up at Caroline’s house and decided to save her life. Not only did he save her life but he opened up himself to her. This was a side of Klaus we’ve never seen on the show yet. The only people he was close to was his family. He saw something in Caroline just how I saw something in them. That’s when I knew that this was going to be a special ship.

Why do you ship Klaroline?

When people ask me why I ship Klaroline I always give them different answers because there’s just so many reasons. The chemistry between the two characters and how they balance each other out is truly exquisite. They have their ups and downs but what OTP doesn’t? Shipping Klaroline has been rough but I’m grateful for everyone in the fandom who still makes new fanfiction, and twitter trends, and of course the Klaroline Magazine.

How do you participate in the Klaroline fandom?

I wish I had the talent to make GIFs and Graphics but sadly I don’t. But I always try to help the fandom with twitter trends, and to go on websites and find polls. About a year ago I tried to make my own Klaroline fanfiction because I loved them so much. The tough thing about that is that I’m not a writer, and I kind of gave up after about 7 chapters. But maybe one day I’ll go back and try to finish it. Also about two years ago I did something for the fandom which was called 10 days of Klaroline. What I basically did was to go on every Klaroline blog I could find and to ask them questions about our beloved ship (anonymously). So when the 10th day was up I would reveal myself to all the wonderful fellow shippers. Thinking about it now I’m so glad I did it because it made me make new friends I never thought I would have.

Tell us a bit about your blog and why a klaroline fan would like it?

Well I feel like any Klaroliner would love my blog because I only blog about Klaroline. I try to make it positive as possible and to not blog about anti stuff. I also try to help with what’s going to trend on twitter and for any news Klaroline might have whether it’s about Fanfiction, etc. I also try to help with fellow bloggers who might need help with their own Klaroline blog.
