Bloggers Interview with weilaer

In today’s interview we got a chance to chat to Vera aka weilaer about why she ships Klaroline and whether she thinks they will be endgame. Read what she has to say here:

KM: For all of the readers who don’t know you, why don’t you tell us about yourself?

Vera: My name is Vera 22 years old. I live in Singapore, a small country in southeast asia near the equator so it’s summer all year round. It’s a pretty interesting country, multi-racial with Chinese, which is my race, forming majority of the population followed by Malays, Indians and then Caucasians. But English is our common language. I am currently studying in University of London (located in Singapore hehe) Class of 2018!

KM: Klaroline is not the easiest ship to ship; what was it about this pairing that stood out to you?

Vera:  Chemistry is everything. They just have good chemistry! Cliché I know. It’s not something you can create or act out, it’s not a craft you can master. You have it or you don’t. It’s on and off screen, it’s not something that goes away as soon as you are out of character. It a kind of vibe, that kind of feeling they exude when they are together.

KM: Have you taken part in any fandom events? Which has been your favorite?

Vera: Unfortunately no. I am too far away from social media and school is really taxing. PS this has nothing to do with me being Asian. haha

KM: Do you honestly believe that Klaroline is over?

Vera: Not at all. I wouldn’t bet my life on Klaroline being endgame because I am a coward. But I can’t think of a better canon. I mean right now it’s down to Stefan and Klaus right? How could Stefan be Caroline’s last? Firstly, there is no dialogue of Stefan saying he intends to be her last, no surprise there. Second, Stefan, Damon and Elena, this theme should be the heart of the show and the moment this triangle broke, the show lost its appeal. Elena should be the one for Stefan even if they don’t end up together Stefan will never love anyone more than Elena. Caroline doesn’t deserve to be backup. Ps I don’t ship nor dislike Delena or Stelena. “Neutrelena”

KM: Joseph Morgan said Klaroline is the endgame he wants to happen. How likely do you think that is?

Vera: He has no reason not to support it. It’s the only relationship Klaus has that have such a strong presence/ fanbase. Also Candice is hot and they like working together. Flashback to Candice’s insta posts…British lessons…basically they love each other.

KM: Do you still watch TVD and TO? If yes, what do you enjoy about the shows? If no, why not?

Vera: Nope. Like I said earlier, Elena, Stefan, Damon love triangle is the heart of the show. With Nina gone, I find it oddly surprising that they wanted to continue without her. I mean they actually think they might be able to pull it off without Nina? My favorite characters are Katherine and Klaus and guess what they both are gone and never coming back. Same goes for me.

KM: TVD seems very keen to promote a Steroline endgame, do you think that this will happen? Will the audience take to it?

Vera: Steroline endgame in TVD may happen. But TO is definitely klaroline endgame. So eventually it’s a klaroline endgame. That is only worst case scenario. I would be disgusted but it might happen? I have lost confidence in this show and its creators. Kevin is savage. I hope he does something. Season premiere was meh but at least I stayed until the end of the episode.

KM: Does Klaroline remind you of any other ships from other shows/books/movies?

Vera: Nope. It holds a fort of its own. Even the ship name sounds classy. I hope they will be my second canon couple following Chuck and Blair’s happy ending.

KM: And lastly, what’s your one piece of advice that you would like to give the fandom?

Vera:  Honestly, Klaroline scenes in TVD has been nothing but god sent. No matter which fanfiction it can’t go wrong, you just know it’s gonna be good.
